Events Settings

The Events Setting configures the application to save Events to the hard disk or to a Database.

Events Options:

. Save Type : This combobox Configures the save location of the events.

. Owner : The save location of the events will be in the project folder.

. Database : The save location of the events will be in a configured database. To create a connection see DataBase Connections

. Connection Item : This combobox is only enabled when save type is Database. It Configures to wich configured database the events will be saved.

. Save Events to Disk: This checkbox will tell the SmartView to save the Events with a pre-determined time when the documents will be deleted.

. Days to Keep Events on Disk: Configures how many days the Events will be saved.

. Never Delete History: Every event will be saved as long as this option is active.

Note: The field "Days to Keep Events" will only be available if the field "Save To Disk" is checked and the field "Never Delete History" is unchecked

Note: If the field "Days to Keep Events" is configured with the 0 (zero) value, the history file will be kept until 11:59:59 PM of the current day
