Gradient

In this brush mode the user can configure gradient colors. The user will have to select the two desired colors to create a gradient using the RGB and transparency control. The user can set how the gradient will be applied, that is, horizontally, vertically and other options. There is also a preview area where the user can see the configured gradient colors.


To configure a gradient brush using the RGB fields, follow the steps below:


1.   Click the desired object to select it.


2.   Click the Gradient tab.


3.   Click the color box on the left-top of the window (if it is the first time that the gradient is being configured, the box will have the white color configured).


4.   Click the R (red) field.


5.   Insert the desired number of the color.


6.   Click the G (green) field.


7.   Insert the desired number of the color.


8.   Click the B (blue) field.


9.   Insert the desired number of the color.


10. Click the A (Transparency) field.


11. Insert the desired rate of transparency or move the slider to the left/right to set the desired transparency.


12. Now, to configure the second color, Click the color box on the left-bottom of the window (if it's the first time that the gradient is being configured, the box will have the black color configured).


13. Click the R (red) field.


14. Insert the desired number of the color.


15. Click the G (green) field.


16. Insert the desired number of the color.


17. Click the B (blue) field.


18. Insert the desired number of the color.


19. Click the A (Transparency) field.


20. Insert the desired rate of transparency or move the slider to the left/right to set the desired transparency.


21. Click the desired style of the gradient (Horizontal, Vertical, Diagonal or any other choice).


22. Click the OK button.


23. The selected gradient brush will be displayed in the field.



To configure a gradient brush using the mouse, follow the steps below:


1.   Click the desired object to select it.


2.   Click the Gradient tab.


3.   Click the color box on the left-top of the window (if it is the first time that the gradient is being configured, the box will have the white color configured).


4.   Click the desired set of color in the vertical rainbow bar.


5.   Click the desired color in the square color set (RGB fields value will be updated for every color chosen).


6.   Click the A (Transparency) field.


7.   Insert the desired rate of transparency or move the slider to the left/right to set the desired transparency.


8.   Click the color box on the the left-bottom of the window (if it is the first time that the gradient is being configured, the box will have the black color configured).


9.   Click the desired set of color in the vertical rainbow bar.


10. Click the desired color in the square color set (RGB fields value will be updated for every color chosen).


11. Click the A (Transparency) field.


12. Insert the desired rate of transparency or move the slider to the left/right to set the desired transparency.


13. Click the OK button.


14. The selected gradient brush will be displayed in the field.



 

 Note: If the chosen colors are inverted and you do not want to reconfigure the colors, there is the Swap Color button that will swap the two colors configured in the gradient.
